Blog Disclaimer

Because of the “I’m going to sue” mentality prevalent nowadays, my blog has to have a disclaimer page. So, below are all the different disclaimers for all the situations I think I could get into trouble for.

Content: I am responsible for everything written on this blog. Well, me and the books I read and other resources I use, but they didn’t make me write anything. If I ever have an employer they are not responsible. Any organizations I belong to, my friends, family or anyone I have ever met in my entire life are not responsible either.

Content 2: I write about situations involving people I know and family members. I do not name them for privacy reasons. Not everyone wants to be a reality star. My own children don’t count as they learned a long time ago that I don’t respect their privacy.

My Opinions: This hardly ever happens, but I may change my mind about something I write. You know what they say ‘if you can’t change your mind are you sure you have one”?

Endorsements: As I have said before, the products I link to are products that I use, someone I know has used or comes highly recommended to me. However, just because I use them doesn’t mean you have to. A certain product I use may work fine for me, but if that same product makes you break out in hives, I am not responsible for that. I am also not responsible for any changes that a manufacturer may make to their products, any side effects they may cause or their business practices (especially if I don’t know about them).

Comments: I love hearing from people and having them share their own stories. I am however, very sensitive, some may say overly sensitive, so please try not to hurt my feelings. Also, I would like to make this blog a pleasant reading experience and not a stress inducing one. So, if your comments are causing trouble, are profane, rude or spam I will delete them.

Accuracy: Everything I write about is as accurate as can be at the time of writing it. New research comes out which proves older research wrong, a product is found to have more or less benefits, etc; All I can do is try to keep up.

External Sites: I am not responsible for questionable sites that link back to me. I do not ask them to and I have no control over it. If they offend you please take it up with them.

Putting My Foot In It: I would never, ever knowingly offend or insult someone. Ask anyone, they will tell you if anything, I’m usually too nice. If a word I use is considered insulting in your country, culture or household please know that it was not my intention to offend. I understand cultural differences, but I can’t be expected to know everything about all of them. Therefore, I am not responsible for unintentionally offending someone.
